She's such a gorgeous girl but her dress choice for her wedding/valima is horrible. I would of loved to see her in an Elan or Bunto/Dr Haroon.

A few more details from the magazine, his jacket was made with 22 carat gold and according to a representative of the company who made their wedding cake, the 14ft wedding cake/structure took "15 people and over 200 hours to make"

I think her dress was lovely! Maybe a bit unwearable without some kind of lining for most of us people but oh well.
But I can't figure out the true colour - the lighting in the dfferent pics makes it look sometimes ivory with hints of green and sometimes cream or pink?
The make up looks really lovely too - but maybe just not a good match for a wedding outfit, like someone else said above, it could have been softer.

Why didn't the daily mail and others cover the walima? they did with the wedding, that is strange. Tarun Tahiliani's very talented he made Kate Middleton's dress into an Asian creation, made it ethnic but kept the fundamentals similar.

The lace look has been part of casual Pakistani fashion for a long long time. Lace sleeves has always been around, I don't think the trend will catch in bridal wear just because its a popular bridal trend in the UK.

the wedding day blush is definitely applied horribly- no blending at all- which is a shame because otherwise, i have to say, i still really like her outfit/look.

Wow, its amazing to see so much negativity and bad mouthing in this world. Funny thing is, they don't even care what we say. Its their wedding, let them be happy. Also, they weren't going to dress up according to our liking since they don't owe us anything. Even if you thought you look beautiful, somebody just might be hating your entire look, imagine how would you feel then. Stop spreading so much hate.

for anyone to expect that their "entire look" would be loved by all is unreasonable. the world doesn't work that way and as mature adults we should be able to understand that and not derive any displeasure or be hurt from it.

The 22 carat gold is from the fabric being spun with gold thread.....that's what true kamkhaab is.
