He did stick to the game plan but over exerted himself in the first few rounds and lost momentum from there a little. He can’t do that against Mayweather who. Maidana made that mistake against Mayweather. By the 7th round Mayweather was all over him.

Great performance. Mayweather would still win but Amir can cause him problems. I still worry about his discipline. A couple of good wins and he loses his composure. He needs to start calmly against Floyd and then up his tempo, other it will be very hard.
