There was no skulking feel and description to the origin of this post, I was just reminding people to mind their manners and learn to be civil because surely we dont like it when someone uses a term that is considered derogatory by us.
** Some of us don't agree with this sulky, get your own way attitude, because we believe in sticks and stones breaking bones **
Again there is no sulky attitude. Just a - lets behave and act like civilized people and follow teh golden rule- attitude. but i guess some people believe otherwise, which is not surprising.
*The issue is not about tolerance, but on the contrary. It's about choice! *
it is about both, it is about the choice to say what you want, but the responsibility and tolerance to not be rude, crude and socially screwed in the way things are stated.
*Freedom of Choice, Freedom of Movement and Freedom of Speech.
In your country it's called the First Amendment! *
and with freedom comes responsibility, some covered under defamation and some althougjh not covered by laws, is covered by common decency...or lets say..not so common decency.

Please show me anywhere on GS where ANY American has spoken with disrespect or intentionally misspelled the name of Pakistan. Our president is frequently refered to as a monkey.

err... didn't the American president refer to all Pakistanis as "Pakis" in a formal address in front of the world's media?
I've seen Pakistanis call each other Pakis. Bush might have said it but you can be assured that it wasn't meant to be derogatory, the man just isn't polished.

But that doesn't stop Pakistan from cheerfully accepting $1.76 billion from them the last three years though, does it? As well $75 million they just you last week for improving security. America is not perfect, but citizens of any country which has accepted billions of dollars from them should show at least some gratitude. Ingratitude.

I am tired of people using this word. It is disrespectful, prejudiced, idiotic and has no place here.
Why do we let people get away with it, I dont know..maybe because for many people it is a non issue as they are not americans.
Would we like to see people use the words like Puke-istanis and Moo-slimes.
Think about it, grow the hell up, and act in a civilized manner.
Yes.. you.. you know who you are.

I didn't notice "Amerikkkan" before, but lately I have begun to notice that ak47 uses it a lot. If he is making a point, then this doesn't seem like a good way to make it. There are plenty of great muslims who are Americans. Not to mention that there are plenty of great human beings who are Americans. Infact KKK followers are probably less than a small fraction of Americans. So whats the dealio?
I think 'mreekuns get a fair 'dealio' considering the country is carrying out mass genocide in Afghanistan and Iraq and in the past Nicaragua, haiti, Vietnam etc etc etc.
It's a shameful country so get over the 3 K's already, rename it Peace and overthrow your Fuhrers then maybe folk will stop messing with the spelling.
