“Think Outside the Bomb” conference coming up in New York City on November 4-5. The conference will focus on nuclear disarmament, nuclear energy, the hazards of the nuclear fuel cycle, and the costs and consequences of the current wars in the Middle East – as well as the connections between these issues.

Call for Applications:
Think Outside the Bomb
From November 4-5, young people from throughout the northeast will converge at PACE University to organize for a nuclear-free world. The conference is being sponsored by the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation, with support from Educators for Social Responsibility (ESR) Metropolitan Area. The conference will focus on nuclear disarmament, nuclear energy, the hazards of the nuclear fuel cycle, and the costs and consequences of the current wars in the Middle East – as well as the connections between these issues.
Lodging will be provided free of charge for many participants coming from outside of New York City. Free food will be provided for all, throughout the course of the weekend.
Confirmed Speakers Include: Zia Mian, Princeton University; Frida Berrigan, World Policy Institute; Jackie Cabasso, Western States Legal Foundation; Seth Green, Americans for Informed Democracy; Jennifer Nordstrom, Women’s International League for Peace & Freedom; Ryo Ijchii, Peace Boat US.
