There is a joke about it.
An American tourist got lost in London so he started asking for directions and was baffled by the British accent and was having hard time understanding Brits.
So he asked the dude " Can you speak English ?" 
yeah I can totally relate to that … i hardly ever understood President Bush’s speaches …

I can speak any English in Punjabi … now beat that one

Humps for next half mile is a sign you see often on english roads. I explained to my friend who i was visiting in the uk what that means here in north amreeka. Now he cracks up everytime he sees the same sign.

Look here is one golden tip for desis ,if you know english (especially in pakistan tab to baap teri life ban gayi,chaa gaye tum ekdum)Then please donot make fake accent,it seems immensely funny n odd.
