American public views Pakistan poorly

Unfortunatly its not only the Pakistani government that has been sold out...............!!

Taliban killed 35,000 Shi'a Hazaras under their rule, backed 100% by Bhutto, Sharif, and Musharraf. Sipah-e-Sahaba attempted to start up a full-scale civil war by targeting Shi'as in the 1990s. Gen. Zia ul Haq slaughtered thousands of Shi'as in Gilgit in 1988. Pashtun Shi'as in Parachinar continue to be slaughtered by the Taliban animals, where they have taken a page from the Israelis by instituting a blockade of the city. Where was your outrage you bloody hypocrite? You think it is perfectly acceptable for Muslims to commit atrocities and then try to downplay it because of how non-Muslims are. It's perfectly convenient for you to act like a victim against the Jews/Hindus/Americans yet say nothing when the theocratic imperialists you venerate commit similar atrocities. Take a look in the mirror before condemning others.

Let me ask you this: is it acceptable to condemn the West while turning a blind eye to the crimes committed by fellow Muslims? Do you support the Taliban and believe it is their right to murder anyone as long as Shariah is established?

Well you never replied to happyhearts anwser and you will never do that simply because u know that you don’t have anwser at all.

Anyhow did you know the ratings of us in west is dropping dramaticly? Why do you only have to mention Pakistan? GS Forum allowes you to talk negatively about Pakistan surely does also surprise me because i thought its Pakistani forum and only thing you are doing is insulting Pakistan and humiliating Pakistanis.

With America’s image declining in many parts of the world, favorability ratings for the United States continue to trail those of other major countries. In Europe, as well as predominantly Muslim countries, the U.S. is generally less popular than Germany, France, Japan, and China. However, the U.S. fares somewhat better in Asia; in fact, Indians rate the U.S. higher than Germany, France, or China and only slightly below Japan. However, America’s favorability rating has dropped 15 points in India since last year.

Won’t shut you up but its a food for a thought.

I mentioned Pakistan because as it is my country of birth, it is also a country that still continues to shelter Islamic extremists who are also killing Pakistanis. I have a problem seeing Arab, Chechen, Uzbek, and Uighur men setting up shop in FATA and trying to create more problems in the country. If the government did not turn a blind eye to it, maybe the U.S. wouldn’t have any excuse to be in Pakistan to begin with. Pakistanis like to claim that there is absolutely nothing wrong with Pakistan, that Pakistanis are all blameless and that the recent terrorist attacks are all a plot by the Mossad to demonize Pakistan and Islam, while a village comes out in the thousands to honor one of the 7/7 bombers in Pakistan. Of course, that isn’t insulting to you, or happyheart.

So you decide to post a report dated from 2006? Food for thought buddy, there was an election last year, which brought about much-needed change since then.

Ever read anything by Ahmed Rashid? Here’s what he said in his recent book ‘Descent into Chaos’:

I am simply just bringing up the points people like Rashid have been saying all along, but of course right-wingers in Pakistan will never get it. They think it is their God-given right to impose the Taliban on Afghanis even though Afghanis want neither the Taliban or the foreign occupation there.

Re: American public views Pakistan poorly

U can insult extremists but u should not insult pakistanis u sad thing.
U are a shame for your country and Pakistani nation .
No one pro taliban or extremists but its people like you who are a disgrace for Pakistan.

So what if you are a Pakistani, does that make you blind what is happening in other countries? Doest that give you the right to insult your country? I fyou do not agree with what is happening then try to solve it by constructive arguments and give solutions not insult Pakistan or Pakistanis.

Hey, I'm not the one posting on Islamic boards referring to the Pakistani army as the 'Na-pak army', as Pakistani posters do on IslamicAwakening. Open your eyes, there are extremists among Pakistanis. Unfortunately there are more of them than with other Muslim groups these days.

Pakistani indifference to Islamic extremism is widespread (except in Swat, Kurram, and Gilgit-Baltistan). You see even "liberal" Pakistanis who drink sharaab on a regular basis always blame India or America but never their own. Pakistanis complain about Zardari selling out to the Americans, but they pretty much sold themselves out to Wahabi Arabs for petrodollars. And I am no Zardari fan...nor am I a fan of any politician (with the exception of Ayub Khan).

You're using the same tactics the Zionist crowd uses in order to silence Jewish critics of Israel. You're too deep in denial to acknowledging the problems that exist. Isn't it funny how you're trying to paint me as a traitor for simply speaking the truth? I am not overly concerned about what happens in other countries, since what happens in Pakistan affects me as well as everyone else.

who the f cares about america and americans

rite now we only care about pakistan and pakistanis losing lives every day

u and americans can go to hell

Re: American public views Pakistan poorly

You realise this is the American public we are speaking off right? The rednecks of the world?

I'm sure many can turn around and say the same thing about the Pakistani public consisting of the bearded religious fanatics of the world, right?

Re: American public views Pakistan poorly

No you would say that because you are Ahmadi. That is all. Your rose tinted glasses only see evil when it comes to Pakistan.

At least you show that you're just as bigoted as the Westerners you whinge about.

P.S. I'm not Ahmadi, but thanks for trying.

Re: American public views Pakistan poorly

Bigoted no. Dislike blind hatred absolutely. You post only negative things regarding Pakistan and are unwilling to listen to reason. The american public views Pakistan poorly. Sure they can do whatever they wish. But in general their opinion is irrelevant to what happens in Pakistan.

I could post positive things but then the fake wannabe mullahs would come out in abundance and accuse me of a myriad of things.

It does to Pakistani-Americans.
