There seems to be a thread started by Pakistanis here worrying about the Hindu use of Swastika which predates Hitler but no one cares to mention that Pakistanis actually support the murder of Jews.

Thought it was ironic, that’s all.

I am a proud Pakistani who condemns killing of anyone innocent and based on religion.
its a crime against humanity and crime in the eyes of Allah the almighty to kill or takelife of any innocent man woman or child....... specially based on the religion.

Thanks for posting the link. I’d assume you were truly sincere about your “Semitic” passion when you “discovered” this essay from April 2004. That puts it almost a year and a half after the original publication.

In any case, the age of this essay does not in anyway reduce the importance from Pakistani thoughts for Jews or diminish the anti-Semitic tendencies of Bharati society. However I would leave Bharati anti-Semitism and anti-Islamism (both are the illegitimate twin children of the human ignorance) to your expert posting skills.

Sure anti-Semitism is pretty visible in Pakistani society and sadly repeated on this forum. However I disagree with the author’s comment that:

Pakistani Muslmaan’s hatred for Jews **does not ** go back 1400 years. This clearly shows complete ignorance by the author about Pakistani society.

Pakistan of today has been the land of Sufia Karaam even before the advent of Islam. Modern day Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, and Frontier region never allowed the Brahmanic caste mafia to establish and take roots in the area. The result is evident from the lack of any well-known Hindu temple in the whole region.

Fast forward to WWII. We must not forget that Musalmaans of Modern day Pakistan gave their blood to defeat Nazis. Just dare to suggest greatness of Hitler to WWII veterans (who are still alive) and they will kick you out of the area. Some detractors may say that these Musalmaans were under British command so they were “being forced” to fight on the side of allies.

Well there are two more examples for you and both of them happen to be in the post-1947 period.

  1. Pakistani army defeated Palestinian terrorists in September 1970 and thus helping save Israel’s borders from Jordanian side.
  2. Iranian Jews were welcome in Pakistan 1979. The same Jews who were being persecuted by the Iranian Maulanas.

You may wonder what happened to tolerance of Jews in Pakistani society? Well we can blame it mainly to the long war against Soviet Commies. This is the war when Pakistan was encircled from East and West. Bharati free marketers and Western allies of today launched attacks in Siachin and in 1984, Indira threatened war on international borders.

During this bleak period, Pakistanis did buy in to Hindu-Yahudi alliance theories and Israel never helped to alleviate Pakistani anxiety. Off course Bharati writers were more than happy to play on Pakistani fears. Many false (and some time not so false) news were spread where Israel was supposedly getting ready to attack Pakistani nukes, or even worse, Israel’s “sensors” and UAVs were being used in Kashmir. All this propaganda culminated with the murder of Daniel Pearl.

Another jump to modern times, and we see that condition on the ground these days is improving albeit slowly. Pakistan became a major player in the Middle East peace process by openly embracing Israel. Recently there was 200 strong Pakistani group on and official visit to Israel where they had lunch with none other than PM Sharon.

This may not address some of the thoughts expressed in the posted article. But my hope is that our passion for Arabism is not that strong as everyone thought. We are once again turning towards the roots of Pakistani society, i.e. Sufism.

I think praise for hitler might be there since because of his campaign against Britain, the colonists left india (called it the "jewel of the crown" and didn't wanna leave it).

It is the same philosophy of enemy of my enemy is my friend. One can also ask why did america supported a genocidal freak like stalin (killed millions more than hitler could) in WWII?? except that the INTERESTS OF THE 2 NATIONS converged with each other..

Most Pakistonis don't even know what holocaust is. Just like Most Americans don't know about the Sepoy Mutiny.

Every country's schools teach history that is directly related to their country. Holocaust was a part of European history and European history is of no value to People in other parts of the world.

The french revolution or holocaust are part of old european history and of no value to us.

Iv met Indian muslims with the same views, and these people lived in America… I have also met many Hindus in America who harbor antisemetic views aswell..
So whats your point?
