She is pretty. But I think a lot of middle America is voting for her. She has that country-girl charm and after her "God Bless the USA" choice two weeks ago, she now has a huge vote base. When top-24 started, who'd have thought that KLC will make it to top-8. Funny thing is that as far as her singing is concerned, I don't dislike her singing either. She makes a good effort and is very pleasant to hear (on an iPod).
Pretty much the expert consensus is that the two Davids are the front-runners, but the eventual winner may just be David C. He has this ability to make songs so special with a rocker approach and novel arrangements. I personally don't like his style (singing style, not hair style), but apparently a lot of people were bowled over by "Hello", "Billie Jean" and then "Little Sparrow" last Tuesday. David A remains my personal favorite. His voice is so soulful. Michael Johns is good, but he has a same kinda stage presence and same style of singing each song.

I don't think David Cook will win just because the teeny boppers vote for David Archuleta. David Cook would go the route of the other rocker we had a few years ago. It will a good thing cuz he'll get his band and totally overshadow the actual winner by selling more albums ;-) hehe

Almost everyone was shocked Michael Johns was voted out, but to be honest he was never gonna win the whole thing. I just can't figure out, though, how come he got out BEFORE Syesha or even Jason Castro. Funnily enough KLC is actually getting better and better, and was not even in the bottom 3 this time.
My theory is that while David A is getting all tween girl votes, KLC is now the sole recipient of all blue-blooded (and possibly red neck) American votes. The girl is very pretty, has a decent voice and is now singing quite well - not to mention her "God Bless the USA". Plus, I heard she is now getting all the Vote For The Worst folks' votes too.
Even though the whole world is going ga-ga over David Cook, the guy never impressed me. He is like Amanda O, where he darkens all his songs and adds that rocker/heavy metal effects. I have not liked any of his songs, not Hello, not Billie Jean, nothing. So you can take me out from the list of those who are looking for a David vs David finale.

Darn it! Why did America vote off Kristy Lee Cook, when they could have voted off Syesha or even Brooke White? Why o why? Battle lines are clear... its gonna be David vs David finale and David will win. :D

Drugged out, drunk, stoned out of her mind, Paula Abdul was at her season best yesterday by criticizing a performance BEFORE the guy has even sung the song! Hahaha.. it was hilarious.
Anyway, the season is marching non-stop, and rather boringly, to the very anticipated match up between David and David in the finale. Unless AI pulls another rabbit out of its ears, Jason, Brooke and Syesha will be gone in the next 3 weeks, presumably in the same order. Frankly, does any body care?

Interestingly, neither of them even once got into the bottom-3 or bottom-2 through out the season. That says something about the fan base both have.
Archu is nice and pleasant and very charming with an exquisite voice, but he is very predictable, very boring and completely non-exciting. Cook is the one who has the experience and boldness to make interesting music.

David Cook was already an American Idol many weeks ago when he sang "Always Be My Baby" on Mariaha night. He is a winner, even if he doesn't win the title next week. David AchooN is boring. He looks lame when attempts to do anything different than his usual pitch.
Despite all the criticism, Syesha did well I thought. I really liked her song Fever and the walking around the chair thingi. I don't know why it was so bad for the judges. Oh well. It would have been nice if the final was b/w syesha and cook.

I caught last 2 performancs by both today and extremely impressive both, though the judges esp Simon kept saying to David A that he's won the final rounds by his measure and it's been a knock-out!
Let's see what America decides.
Both have good careers ready to embrace them.
As the judges kept saying this season that the lot this time was the best ever so far, it really shows in the end product. Great talent.
