I am from Pakistan, and have been here since 1988. I did get sucked in the 'american lifestyle(shallow, chaotic and lonely-even though I had lot of friends), but I kept on working, putting myself through school and life kept on moving along. Through these years of assimilation and growing, I realized that this country just like anyother country has its good and bad people.But the most important thing that I realized was the beauty of Islam. This country makes U wanna understand Islam, It makes U wanna pray, it makes U realize the fact that: 'I am a muslim..Thank GOD'.

i m agree with ya that there is no doubt about that america is a biggest devil, but brother tell me. what we are doin. we call our self muslim. i saw lots of muslim in USa from pakistan, they do more than those americam, they stole creditand when u ask them tey says that thats america 's money, but allah never say that bluf with a chriatian is good. they do zenah, very thing what a kafer can do. so what we gonna say them "american". first we gotta make our self straight. i m not dis agree u. this is good decision to keep ur children in pakistan and give them hidiath of allah. i ll do same tghing , when i ll marry.

I agree with U but not completely, especially raising kids in Pakistan. I believe very strongly that Islam is better understood here in America then it is in Pak. The way Islam is practiced here is almost close to perfection. When I say perfection I mean keeping the Quran and Haadith of Our Prophet Mohd. (S.A.W) within the confines of Fiqh. In Pakistan, Islam is practiced not through intellect and the true understanding of it, but through mere motions that have a seal of illeteracy and rigidity. So believe me, its not really a major thing that once U have kids that U will move to Pak., Unless ofcourse it is Mecca or Medina!
