I dont know if the American spies came in the garb of Kashmir Earthquake, even if they did what were our intelligence agencies doing? After all its the responsibility of the intelligence agencies to keep an eye on suspicious elements.

ساتھ ساتھ ان کی آباد کاری میں مدد کی۔
زلزلے کی امدادی کوششوں کی تکمیل کے بعد،31 مارچ، 2006 کو(سی ڈی اے سی - پاک) کی روانگی کے تقریب کے موقع پر امريکی سفير کروکر نے اس مشن کو 'لائف لائن" يعنی زندگی کی لکير کا نام ديا اور کہا کہ " امدادی سرگرمیوں کی روح سے امریکی فوج کی تاریخ میں سب سے طویل مدد تھی اور 1948ء کی برلن آئير لفٹ کے بعد انسانی مدد کا سب سے بڑا مشن تھا۔ اسی تقریب میں پاک فوج کےمیجر جنرل جاوید اسلم نے امریکی فوجیوں سے کہا “تم ايک اچھا کام کرنے آۓ تھے اور ایسا کرنے میں، آپ نے خود کو اور اپنے ملک کو ايک بہت بڑے اعزاز سے نوازا ہے۔ آپ نے ہزاروں زندگیوں کو بچانے ميں مدد کی اور اس کے علاوہ ہزاروں لوگوں کی آباد کاری میں بھی مدد کی.”

India on infiltration alert in Kashmir after quake**
NEW DELHI: Indian troops are on heightened alert to prevent militants from taking advantage of the chaos in quake-shattered Kashmir and crossing the border in the divided territory, the military said on Sunday.
“We have stepped up guard at the Line of Control and nearly 25 militants were killed during infiltration bids in the last 10 days,” General JJ Singh was quoted by the Press Trust of India as saying.
He said that troops engaged in relief work in the earthquake-devastated areas were keeping an eye out for militants trying to sneak into Indian Kashmir.
“Militants have made about five infiltration attempts since the October 8 earthquake, including two in a single day,” Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee told reporters on the sidelines of a conference in New Delhi. “Some of them wanted to take advantage of the disturbed situation.”
The defence minister said that the presence of civilians among the troops for rescue and relief work could help the militants cross the de facto border. Mukherjee said that the next five to seven days could see more crossing attempts, after which infiltration will become difficult due to winter snowfall blocking mountain passes.
The defence minister said that India was also trying to verify reports that several militant hideouts in the Pakistani zone of Kashmir had been destroyed in the quake.

I can’t believe people are complaining about Pakistan Army at the time of earthquake.
Do you guys really think army was worried about Americans at a time when thousands of people had lost their lives and hundreds of thousands of people needed help?? If some of you visited the effected areas, you would know that thousands of our soldiers were busy in relief work and the whole nation was in a shock.
It’s pretty sad if you think they were either sleeping or busy in other activities.

why the hostility, ehsan bhai? it's not that anyone cares - the only outcome was more dead terrorists on the border. no big deal.
the point is simply that it's amusing to see this hypocritical outrage over the possibility that the CIA took advantage of the earthquake when Pakistan was busy doing exactly the same thing. at least the alleged CIA infiltration was meant to combat terrorism, not to support it.
