Not sure what you’re trying to ask Majesty. I actually know someone whose last name is Ameen. I wasn’t aware that this name requires a response that’s different than other names…

Ameen is quite common as a name......I've known several people named Ameen. They've all spelled it as Amin though.

Are you inquiring about the pronunciation** uh-meeen **as in the name Amin or **aaah-meeeen **like after reciting a dua? Either why what's the confusion? Why would you respond any differently?

it wasnt amin as in trust worthy it was aaameen. Like after dua. There wasn't any confusion as such .I heard the name like a couple of years back and was just wondering what ur instinctive reaction would be.

A little boy in my class is called Ameen .. his name is spelt Ameen .. I work with him a lot and several times a day I have to shout AMEEN!! .. His full name is Ameen Yaseen .. I also wondered about the name as I'd never come across the name before .. I just respond the same way as I do to all my other children in class
