^ Well an Ideal gift would be a Koran would it not? Especailly a very decorated and quality printed copy.

A Quran need not be decorated.

But we tend to decorate what we treasure. Besides some decorations serve functions too. For example a quran may have indented letters and they look nice but can also help a blind person read it too...

Nevermind… In my old fashioned mind a gift must be beautifull and practical… dont tell me you’ve never seen an inlaid or indented Quran 
Theres a Koran museum in Lahore check it out someday.

As LP said, when a child finishes Quran for the 1st time we call it Ameen!
And Quran as a gift not a good idea...i mean im sure they have Quran already... more idea's????

The last thing I remember giving to someone on their ameen was a toy I knew they would like. I haven't been to one in a very long time though.
