hmmm nope.. all price cuts are public now.. even October price cuts are known and there aren't any for FX or Opterons.. the A64 single/dual cores and Semprons and later in October the Turion Mobile processors will see the price cuts..
Remember the FX is multiplier unlocked where only the top Conroe is multiplier unlocked.. so that may give AMD some reason to drag their feet on reducing prices on their FX line..

yep. right on time on July 24 as previously announced..
Real problems are just ahead for AMD.. Core 2 Duo 'mainstream' processors start shipping in August.. That will put further pressure on AMD as it now has lost the 'World's ultimate processor' crown to an Intel offering.
Great bargains to be made right now on Intel PD and Athlon 64 single and X2 lineup.. good times!!

Intel is working on 128 Core Processors. But the same thing they are working on heat reduction methods and a huge electricity support.
It was said that it will be in Markets around 2010.

Do u have any proof of it that Intel doesn;t support x86-64..? and any proof that conroe is not faster in games.. i was just checking the 2.13 GHZ conroe review with half the cache and it was giving a run for money to the top of the line FX-62…

i think somebody above wrote abt the anandtech review and it is very detailed and well written and pretty unbiased..
Moreover although new processor do come up every 3 month or so but a new architecture doesn;t come before 5 yrs and core 2 duo is a new architecture.. and i have never seen the price cuts like this before… 50% price drop across the board in every exisiting processor… that just tell how much far ahead is this processor from the current generation is.
