Nawabshah—At least seven persons were killed and more than 25 others injured when unknown gunmen on motorcycles and cars attacked a passenger bus here at the National Highway on Friday.
According to police, about 15 culprits riding motorcycles and cars ambushed a Kohat bound passenger bus coming from Karachi in Ren Shakh area of tehsil Qazi Ahmed of Nawabshah.
The driver of the bus lost control of the vehicle after the firing and it fell in empty place by roadside. The gunmen sprayed bullets on the bus from two sides and fled the scene after the incident.
As a result of firing seven persons including driver, were killed on the spot while about 25 others sustained injuries. The dead were identified as Abdul Majeed, his son Arsalan Majeed, Shehzad Hussain, Qabil Khan, Samiullah, Gul Reb and Mukhbir Khan.
**The Sindu Desh Liberation Army has claimed responsibility for the killings. Pamphlets of the outfit were found at the scene of the killings in which it claimed responsibility for the killings.

The injured were shifted to Qazi Ahmed hospital from where they were referred to Nawabshah Hospital, 20km away of the crime scene, due to serious wounds. Six among the injured were stated to in critical condition.
Heavy contingent of police reached the scene after the incident and cordoned off the area but the attackers managed to escape. It merits mentioning here that two persons boarded in the bus at Sakrand and said their other companions will also join them in Ren Shakh area. But when the bus stopped there, the miscreants on motorcycles opened fire on the bus. The Sindu Desh Liberation Army is known for its sabotage acts in Nawabshah, the native town of President Asif Ali Zardari.
Ofcourse, the president have taken notice and have asked for the report and one and only Rehman Malik have given him the report and now this is quick action... nothing is going to happen after this, after all, dozen a day get killed in Karachi, and all our President does is take notice and ask for report and all Rehman Malik does is gives him the report...
It seems to me the president after receiving the reports say, well things are not that bad yet.... we can have rest... Malik sahib, app apna kaam jari rakhaiN, remember democracy is best revenge and corruption is our only source of income...
This is what happens when the government is more interested in dollars as compared to governance, the security situation in kp, balochistan, Karachi, gilgit is already bad. Now it seems as if we might see the same in interior sindh as well, in addition to this the president is giving controversial statements regarding formation of seraiki province. The inept government is converting Pakistan into warlordistan.
Question is why would someone attack on a public transport? Have the concern security presented the names of deceased with their profession and others who were travelling in it?
The bus was bound for swabi, and the killers have attributed this to the killing of their leader muzaffar Bhutto who was abducted last year and his dead body was found a couple of days back. I don't know if the intelligence is behind this or not but there is a concerted efforts by some people to push the whole country towards civil war.
having known the province and people these kinds of ideologies wont last for long these kinds of loosers came and gone and were never supported.

As far as I see this issue, delay in resolving Balochistan issue (and the way their voice is resonating in international forums) is giving ideas to some other people as well, there was a big show by JSQM on 23rd of March this year and then suddenly their leader died. Now Muzaffar Bhutto's dead body has been recovered who was abducted about 18 months ago, this is the reaction to that. The government will have to resolve the problem in Balochistan as soon as possible otherwise in the future I see some sort of alliance between Baloch and Sindhi separatists and the extension of Balochistan war into Sindh. Any grievances of Sindhi nationalists need to be tackled as well, and government in province as well as center lie with PPP.
This is an important issue and needs to be discussed separately.

Please leave this thread exactly where it is. I am sick and tired of people supporting the massacre of innocent people in the name of ethnicity. Ask BLA hindu baloch terrorists, and they say that killing unarmed civilians is fine for them because "Balochs don't get their rights" and now these indian-backed racist in Sindh, supporting the killing of innocent people because "Sindhis are not getting their rights"...............rights for what I ask? they already had one sindhi leader i.e. Bhutto break Pakistan in two pieces in 1971 and now again their beloved PPP party butchering Pakistan day and night and sucking the blood of Pakistan out of its veins....
These racists will never be happy and I hope they stay in minority and never happy.............
