The U.S. and Pakistan greatly value each other’s friendship and partnership, and our officials have been coordinating and communicating in regards to our shared peace goals in the region. We regularly highlight the importance of shared cooperation and unity between our nations. Aside from our efforts to negate the common threat of terrorism, our nations are also collaborating on various other projects to further strengthen our relationship.
We would like to bring your attention to one of the recent projects that was inaugurated on January 15[SUP]th[/SUP]. With the help of the USAID, Jacobabad Institute of Medical Sciences (JIMS) will provide state of the art medical services to the people of Sindh and Balochistan.
