I was just wondering on the Pak high commission website for some forms when I bumped into this!!!

See how much army stuffed into just one High commission of Pakistan with useless titles, may be I am un aware , I havent seen /heared anything like that in other counteries diplomats.

instead of promoting Pakistani business and service to community, its full of army/related people just to get them share of cushy life here.

and dont tell me its normal.

is it true for all around the world for pakistan embassies/missions?

Most of these captain's and officers are very experienced and skilled but i too aggree that military officers can never fill the gapof Academic and quality diplomats.

What's strange about this? The names you have highlighted seem to be defence advisors. Who else but defence personnel would be appropriate for such jobs? Businessmen? Novelists? Sportsmen?

I know they are advisors, strange thing is do we need this many at only one location permenently???

surely one or two can advise generally and get advises if needed from lot experts back home.

do a high commission require half a dozen armymen?
are we buying too much hardware on daily basis from UK( in this case)?
do we have major spy operations in UK?, even we have they will not be here in their real ranks shown.
or this is just cause Army also needs a dimplomatic long holidays and these offcials are stuffed in high commission just for that reason.

Pakistan is ruled by the Army that's why all the personal happen to be from the defence department.

mostly they dont publise these kind of stuff or they dont have direct public interaction.
