Amazing run chase by India....

India were set a pretty challenging target of 219 in 39 overs…
but opening batsmen sehwag and tendulkar showed some thrillling batting as India made the required runs in only 30 overs…

Tendulkar was superb as he hit 13 FOURS and a SIC and failed to reach yet another 100 as he was not out on 87…

good show by india
i was more impressed with sehvag

Tendulkar has become the first batsman to score 11,000 runs in one-dayers.

I was really impressed, especially by Sehwag, because tendulkar scoring a fifty is becoming normal nowadays !

This little Dynamite Shehwag is Amazing.
If u see both Sachin and him playing u cant make out who is Sachin. They r so identical in batting style and physique.

Brilliant play !!!!!

Jiyo Aur Jeene Do!!!

I'm impressed by Sehwag, he needs to be the opener for the rest of the series.

Thank you, come again

i will say

to india.. bohat acha khaylay…

mairay dill mairay mussafir

sehwag seem more of banging types. often he does not middle it, but strikes so hard that ball rushes all the way to boundary. again, england had terrible wicketkeeper (so has india) so that gave some life to sehwag. overall, i would rate sehwag a afridi style batsman. of course, useful in ODI's since he can bowl a bit too.

ZZ,

I am sure you havent seen Him playing thats why U commented like this.juts becouse he Blast that doesnt mean that he s Afridi like .He is a very sensible batsman and has very good technique. He is the most talented batsmane among all youngesters. His first Test ining in SA (where he score 100 on debut) was brilliant.

Jiyo Aur Jeene Do!!!

Indians are always good at their home ground. Let them play against SA in SA or aginst Australia in Australia and see the results.

Intresting..
but can u tell record of Pakistan in SA or pakistan in AUS...
You r saying as if Aap logon ne har Jagah JHANDE fahra rakhe hain Paksitan ke..

Moreover This same England team defeated u 1-0 last year...

huhhh... typical pakistani bad bolapan....!!!

come down to Earth mAn...

well if u know, tendulkar was caught off the first ball by gough in this match....
the umpire signalled a wide....

hoggard trapped sehwag lbw on a ball that must have hit the middle stump but denied....

in pakistan, u dont see the paki batsmen getting such benefits....

Watch TV replays, after 10 replays commentators did not know whether ball touched bat or not. And of course, umpire cant see with more precision than TV. There was no sound either. So only SRT knows what happened. Even if it went to 3rd umpire, SRT would have been declared not-out.

First of all, we are discussing Indian team here. Read the subject of the post.

Secondly, if you really wanna compare India and Pakistan, we all know what Pakistan did to India on Indian soil in 1999 series, both in test and one dayers.

And we also know how India is afraid of playing Pakistan in these conditions. They know that they'll surely loose against Pakistan and Indian public would not be able to suffer this defeat.

One name - Shakoor Rana. Do you remember him ??

Anyways, may be you are right, in Pakistan it's the bowler who get such benefits and their batsmen dont really need to get it.

AK

Guess what I found!!! Tendulkar was OUT and he knew it and still didn’t walk. Kinda sad especially since ppl regard him as a god who can do no wrong.

Proof: An excerpt from BBC

Gough said that Tendulkar apologized to him at the end of the Kanpur match after what appeared to be an edge down the leg-side to wicketkeeper Marcus Trescothick.

“He knew he hit it but the umpire gave him not out,” said Gough.

“I tried to get him out afterwards but he played some magnificent shots.”

For example here is some intresting facts about Imran Khan

No of Wicket LBWs %of Wicket as LBW

=============================================
Home 163 45 27%
Away 199 31 15.5%

Amazing data!!Isnt it !!!!

Anyway Keep it up SHAKUR RANAs.

Yeah it is!

The guy was absolutely marvellous just like IITians. don't take it personally brother

It's just that Tendulkar confessed that he nicked it and that he didn't walk. Pretty cheap if you ask me. But then again who cares about my opnion, right!
