After the great flood, Allah ordered Noah to make utensils from the wet clay.
Noah made his best as orders were from Allah.

Then Allah asked Noah to shatter everything to pieces

Noah pleaded, " Oh Lord! I had made it with love; How could I wth my own hands?"

Allah replied, " Oh Noah, I made this world with so much love. How did you expect me to just destroy it. I just wanted you to have a glimpse of this feeling."

Well this isn't an Islamic quote, but I really do like it. It's about man-made laws vs. 'morals/ethics'. It's from an amazing and very powerful essay called "Civil Disobedience" by Henry David Thoreau.
