Dr. Tariq Al Swaidan discovered some verses in the Holy Quran that
mention one thing is equal to another, i.e, men are equal to women.
Although this makes sense grammatically, the astonishing fact is
that the number of times the word man appears in the Quran is 24
and number of times the word woman appears is also 24,therefore not
only is this phrase correct in the grammatical sense but also true
mathematically, i.e. 24=24.
Upon further analysis of various verses, he discovered that this is
consistent throughout the whole Quran, where it says one thing is
like another. See below for astonishing results:-

appear:-
Solat 5, Month 12, Day 365, Sea 32, Land 13
Sea + land = 32+13= 45
% Sea=32/45100=71.11111111%
% Land=13/45100= 28.88888889%
=100.00
Modern science has only recently proven that the water covers
71.111% of the earth, while the land covers 28.889%.
"This is the Book (the Qur'ân), whereof there is no doubt, a guidance to those who are Al-Muttaqûn [the pious and righteous persons who fear Allâh much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden) and love Allâh much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)]."
(This is) a Book (the Qur'ân) which We have sent down to you, full of blessings that they may ponder over its Verses, and that men of understanding may remember.
"Our Lord! forgive us our sins and anything we may have done that transgressed our duty; establish our feet firmly and help us against those that resist faith." **Quran(3:147)
No one has reexamined the above data. Most probably the Dr Tariq has also copied this from some other article.
The other day one Maulvi was telling on PTV that missile system is well defined in quran.
One thing is sure that the geographical knowledge of authors of quran was very limited.
The % of water Vs Land has been changing ever since the earth was formed. Even now it is changing. The avergae values of last century hover around those estimates.
Does that mean Quran is relevant only for the last century? Delusions of supremacy will take you no where!

Salat is mentioned more than 5 times in Surah Al-Baqarah alone.
Other numbers might be correct, might not be. If they are correct, its merely a coincidence. Or if Allah SWT indeed intentionally created this coincidence, Im sure He did it to see how many folks fall for this numbers game, instead of actually reading and understanding the Quran.
'Amazing facts' like this above article only provide gossip mongers like my 2 dear friends above to make a mockery out of it.
