It is just for the reading pleasure of Muslim brothers & sisters.
Dr. Tariq Al Suwaidan discovered some verses in the Holy Quran that mention one thing is equal to another, i.e. man is equal to women.
Although this makes sense grammatically, the astonishing fact is that the number of times he word man appears in the Quran is 24 and the number of times the word woman appears is also 24, therefore not only is this phrase correct in the grammatical sense but also true mathematically (24 = 24).
Upon further analysis of various other verses, he discovered that this is consistent throughout the whole Quran, where it says one thing is like another. See below for some astonishing results:-
The word number of times mentioned in Arabic Quran:
Dunia (one name for life) 115 ú Aakhirat (life hereafter) 115
Malaikat (angels) 88 ú Shaytan (satan) 88
Life 145 ú Death 145
Benefit 50ú Corrupt 50
People 50 ú Messengers 50
Eblees (king of devils) 11 ú Seek refuge from eblees 11
Museebah (calamity) 75 ú Thanks 75
Spending (sadaqah) 73 ú Satisfaction 73
people who are Mislead 17 ú Dead people 17
Muslimeen 41 ú Jihad 41
Gold 8 ú Easy life 8
Magic 60 ú Fitnah (dissuasion, misleading) 60
Zakat (taxes Muslims pay for the poor) 32 ú Barakah (increasing or
blessings of a wealth) 32
Mind 49 ú Noor (light) 49
Tongue 25ú Sermon 25
Desire 8 ú Fear 8
Speaking publicly 18ú Publicising 18
Hardship 114 ú Patience 114
Muhammad 4 ú Sharee*ah (Muhammad’s teachings) 4
Man 24 ú Woman 24
And amazingly enough have a look how many times the following words
appear:-
Solat (Prayer ) 5
Month 12
Day 365
sea 32
Land 13
Sea + land = 32 + 13 = 45
% sea = 32/45 * 100 % = 71.11111111
% land= 13 / 45 * 100 % = 28.88888889 = 100.00
Modern Science has only recently proven that the water covers 71.111 % of the earth, while the land covers 28.889 %. Is this a coincidence?
Who taught prophet Mohammad (PBUH) all this? Allah, the All Mighty taught him this. As the Quran tells us: (This is) a Book, the Verses whereof are perfected (in every sphere of knowledge, etc.), and then explained in detail from One (Allfh), Who is All-Wise and Well-Acquainted (with all things).’ (Quran 11:1)
The above is from the the series of the scientific miracles in Quraan, by Dr. Tariq Al Suwaidan May ALLAH Bless us all.

glad to know im not the only one who's fed up of the shia/sunni and other conflicts on the religion forum.
This is very strange. Prayer is mentioned 112 times in the Qur'an in varying contexts. So Dr. Tariq Al Suwaidan is completely wrong. With respects to days and months, the above only seems to be consistent with the Gregorian calendar. There are not 365 days in the Islamic lunar calendar. I just can't understand how people find such numbers in the Qur'an and expect it to make sense.
Yep Partypooper i don't understand it either, and moreover i question the need of people to search for justification for their faith in such miniscule possibilities...i mean the miracle of the Qu'ran lies not in how many times a certain word is mentioned in relation to another, but in the origin of its revelation and the purity and beauty of the message it carries...

uh boy...
so you mean to tell me that 365 days has no bearing at all?
Yes the Islamic calendar is Lunar because it is much easier to monitor. Solar calendar may not be obvious to poeple living in the tropics or the artics.. but lunar is... and Islam makes it easier for us measly humans to perform our rites and duties... therefore the lunar calendar.
Part 2
anyways.. with regards to the post.. gimme a few numbers, a few words and some time and i can contoct some sort of comparison..
All these things basically remove our mind from actually understanding the message in quran about how to live our life.
so what if the number of times thing are mentioned is equal.. if you use logic you will see that these things are linked.. and probably are in either the same verse or on proceeding ones..
I feel that these numbers are just another way to rationalise a person's belief. There is no such thing as the "Mathematical Miracle" of the Qur’an. The mere fact that the Qur’an has not referred to any such "Miracle" to evidence its divine origin is enough for me to ignore such self proclaimed "Miracles". Had there actually been such a "Miracle" entailed in the Qur’an, it should then, at least, have referred to it as such. "Miracles", as you would agree, are not hidden phenomena, discoverable only after deep research by some experts of a field. On the contrary, a "Miracle" by its very nature should be self-evident for even the commonest of men. The above numbers, had it satisfied all its claims, could at best be termed as a "Strange" discovery, obviously not a "Miracle".
They shoot partypoopers, don't they?
