It joins the swedon and denmark.

The Great Belt Bridge
The bridge connects the island Funen (part of Western Denmark) and the island Zealand (where Copenhagen is situated). The Great Belt bridge has a span of 1624 meters and is the World´s second longest suspension bridge (only a bridge in Japan is longer).
The pylons are 254 meters (26 meters higher than those of the Golden Gate bridge in San Fransisco, earlier record holder for 50 years). The bridge sections are placed 75 meters above sea level. The bridge is for car traffic. Trains are going through a tunnel.

the one we have here is only one mile n it connects usa n canada n i think that was the first tunnel that connected two nations..but its not all that pretty :p
