AmaL

STARRING: Rupinder Nagra, Koel Purie, Naseeruddin Shah, Roshan Seth, Seema Biswas, Vik Sahay, Tanisha Chatterjee

Amal (Rupinder Nagra) is a humble and content auto-rickshaw driver in New Delhi. Though observant to his physical surroundings, he doesn’t seem to see how his sincere goodness and honesty touches people. This trait leads to the main plot of the story when he remains oblivious to what could have been a hugely life altering situation. By chance, Amal picks up an eccentric billionaire who, disguised as a vagabond, was searching for signs of humanity in today’s crazy, superficial world. The man discovers that Amal embodies all he is looking for, and so decides to leave Amal his fortune. The film follows the search for the “mystery man” left in the wealthy man’s will after his untimely death, and in doing so takes the viewer on a visually stunning tour of New Delhi.

What I found most interesting was this is a rare case where the main character does not change. While so often movies take us on a journey with a character as they fight some flaw, Amal remains consistent while changing those around him.

It is a sweet story, though perhaps predictable and sometimes slow. However, it is not for twists and turns that one would watch this film, but rather it is how the characters discover themselves and attempt to make the right changes that makes it charming.

so did anyone saw this movie??i am planning to watch it as it has naseer-ud-din shah in it:@:
