Coz I’m kinda finding it hard to fight the fresh onslaught of Wahabisim against shiaism
I’m not asking for help but I’m starting to get heated up and after fighting I don’t have any time to surf the net coz I have to study! And I can’t let people go uneducated about my sect!
Desert fox,
We muslims are supposed to be one and not have sects as you put it.That said if you want to have one fine, but don't go on calling everyone who is not in agreement with you 'wahabi'.At least show some basic courtesy. This shia-sunni,wahabi,whatever thing is disturbing and so please refrain from spreading hate among muslims.
Why not concentrate on what is common instead of fighting among ourselves?
Desert Fox… Come on yaar…Don’t take it so personally. We are all muslims. These matters which you refer to are only minor differences of opinion, if you ask me.
Don’t worry about it. Concentrate on your studies. These discussions have their own way of dissipating. In any case, there are many muslims (even of your school-of-thought) who will be participating here to calrify any matter where they feel some wrong statement is attributed.
You are like a brother to me, just as all muslims are. Even if we disagree on any point doesn’t mean that I am attacking your beliefs. Each of us has a right to keep our belief and must avoid hurting or hurling abuse at another muslim.
Shair, look who is creating or talking fights now.
Its unfortunate to see this happening.
Desert fox, what is this with you people, why do you keep labeling others with such names and sects? Why are you unto dividing the whole ummah in sects? Why can't you people live without any sects and just do what is good and promote good and kill evil where ever you see it.
What is the deal with you and sunnis and wahabism?
Why do you judge others and think that you are the only one on the right path of Islam?
Did you ever considered your self a Muslim first and than shia?
I consider my self a Muslim and Muslim is someone who follow the teachings of QURAN and teachings of Mohammad.
Watcher Yaar I am a muslim and I consider myself muslim first and then Shia!
Guess you took my post the wrong way!
If you think I have anything against you than I dont I kinda like the way you put up your argiment!
shia are the follower of Imam Ali..these are the people who were behind Imam Ali when he was going through a tough time after the death of our Prophet..Imam Ali said I do sajda to Allah not because of the fear of hell or the greed of heaven, I do it because I find Allah to be worthy of it..so how can the ppl who were behind Imam Ali not be muslims? shia only means the follower of Imam Ali
the shia beliefs on imaamat:
The Imaams possess all the knowledge granted to the angels, prophets and messengers. (Al-Kaafi p. 255)
The Imaams know when they will die and they do not die except by their own choice. (Al Kaafi p. 258)
And our belief concerning him who denies the Imaamat to the Prince of Believers Áli bin Abi Talib and the Imaams after him is that he is the like who denies the apostleship of all the prophets, on whom be peace. (A Shi'ite Creed p. 94)
REALLY? Is that what you believe?????????

we believe Imams are infallible..our Prophet used to cry because he knew one day His grandson would sacrifice himself one day..dont u think Imam Hussain knew what would happen in Karbala? Our Prophet and our Imams had knowledge of future as well..i totally believe that

Our Hadiths are written by the Ahle-bayt. you know the people who are far, far away from wrong? They are better than any man(other than Prophet Mohammed but then again Prophet Mohammed is also a part of Ahle-bayt)
Your Hadiths are by a normal man(mostly Abu-hurraira)but ours are from exalted Humans!
and yes this is what the Prophet said!
