I’m not proud of it, but … I don’t know how to read Urdu :frowning:
I can speak/ understand it fluently, and read/ write in English characters, but.. Urdu Urdu nehe parni ati :crying:

My Dadda Abu tried to teach me when I was younger. I can read little words, and I can try really hard to sound out sentences, but I have a hard time since there aren’t any accent marks, like in Arabic :cb:.

I can read the Qur’an perfectly, with out any hesitation, because it has the accent marks (zabbr, zer, paish, etc…) but normal Urdu… not so well :sid:

I live in the United States. I've been here my entire life. I go back to Pakistan to visit for a few weeks and come back.
