Am I the only one who find this Threads-On-Bollywood-Masala rampage quite distasteful?
I am all for people’s right to like Indian movies and even talking about them all they want, even if I don’t like Indian movies, but to open this forum to see keeray makoray in thread titles and a separate thread dedicated to each single gossip is just pushing it. IMO.

this? This is another thread on whether or not people should be allowed to post about bolllywood, or whether it should be constricted. I don't get it though, we have one of these every once in a while, and everyone comes in and argues, but nothing is achieved. You have power, why don't you do something about it. Merge them or something.

I understand ur feelings Faisal :)
but stating what u have stated is wrong.
simply because first of all this forum was not opened JUST for bollywood
second of all not everyone talks abt bollywood ... of course there is lollywood, hollywood, paki models, and pak T.V shows, etc. etc.
so please if you dont like bollywood stay away from the forum. it is no use opening threads like this :) sorry if i have insulted u in anyway.

merging them is a good option. Especially when its the one or two-liner news updates on something trivial in Bollywood, like Karishma had mole-removal surgery or something.
Bigger threads like the current Tehzeeb one, where someone wants to talk about an actual work, like a movie or a particular song, or a trend - no need to merge it...
How does that sound?
I'm making this sound like a feedback type thread, I know.
I get irritated with those threads too, but kya karein. There is a major portion of Pakistani population who wants to talk about Indian cinema. Barring them from posting or even discouraging them is unfair. We all have different tastes.
I have no problem if people wanna talk about Bollywood. Thats their choice. If they wanna share gossips and masala news, thats fine too. I am sure there are some people here who enjoy that too.
But if someone just wants to post all the weekly gossip, why can't they just do it in one thread instead of opening 5-6 different threads? May be have just one thread a week or something.
Opening Shor Sharaba and see multiple threads on masala stuff of Bollywood actors, all opened within minutes of each other is just a turn-off.
