I know. I came here for people to tell me that its completely normal. With mom combating degenerative disease and grandpa having Alzheimer, I dont want to voice my fears. might take me a while before I go see a doc

So your plan is to let things get worse?

I understand you’re scared, but it could be something completely harmless that could get treated easily. Don’t let it fester. Anyway hope it gets sorted soon.

okay this is gonna sound so weird but wth.
just woke up after a power nap.
so I “think” I was half asleep, I heard my cousins talking ( im expecting them). I was not entirely sure because their voices were really fading. I wanted to ask my sister is it reallt them ,but I could not for some weird reason. Then I felt her sitting right next to me almost trying to put my head in her lap. Now I cant see her face,I want to tell her that I know you are here dont go im gonna wake up in a bit but I couldnt. then I extend my hand towards her face but it moves to the opposite direction (involuntarily). it seems to me that sister got scared and hid behind the bed. I smile and want to tell her that calm down “its just him”. “whatever im feeling” twisted my arm and slapped it back on the bed. I laugh ( as if it was really immature of that thing) and wake up reading kalma. theres no cousin around yet.

some months ago

theres some light coming from where i plug in my cell charger. I turned my face away from it. I feel bro and mom enter the room talking ( now mom cant talk/walk like a normal person, so it was definitely hallucination). There are alot of things going behind my back.. lots of lighting. it sounds like a festival with bonfire and singing..goes on for like a minute. I face towads the charger again… light is gone .. room is still dark.

I dont know whats going on.. my mom hallucinate all the time.. like she can see the entire apt from her bedroom and talks to a kid and a woman.. but itss a symptom of her illness…

3/4 years ago I experienced something like that too .. someone told me to not shut the door while sleeping.. im not saying its magic.. i just want to know is it normal u know just dreams that seem real or should i get my demagh checked?

just asked my sister, she said she heard nothing i was just moving alot
PS it happens when im almost awake or just going to sleep.

Are you taking any medicines?

I had a similar feeling when I once took a heavy doze of Ibuprofen.

I can totally relate in that I tend to procrastinate as well and would never rush to consult a doctor if I can avoid it but sometimes we just can’t. I think this is one of those cases and I would suggest taking an appointment with your doctor to discuss this issue. Hopefully, it won’t be something to worry about but why take a chance? I think I did share the first one here long time ago? I dont remember but whatever.. just coz u ask me

I was talking to someone and we both fell asleep. I feel a hand covers my mouth. I scream my lungs out but for some reason it was not audible. I try to make me fall off the bed so that it makes noise and someone comes rescue me. I can't move .. its like im trapped. Then I remember when u read Ayat ul Kursi, jins go away. Read the first line, nothing happens. Tell myself u need to beilive in it for it to work. keep reading it and the grip starts loosening up and I wake up and run out of the room.

okay im not saying it was a jin. but when ur in that state .. it just feels like that theres someone whos doin it.

I suffered from sleep paralysis for years and it has no adverse effects.

I used feel trapped and I couldnt move and I felt like I was dying and eventually I would open my eyes and force myself out of it.

Also, auditory hallucinations (hearing voices) are VERY common when in the sleep-awake state.

I used feel trapped and I couldnt move and I felt like I was dying and eventually I would open my eyes and force myself out of it.

I never used to see anything because my eyes were shut, just a completely paralysed body but totally awake mind and intense anxiety and feeling of death coming upon me, I once thought I was dying because I was so anxious I felt I was being squeezed.

Hearing voices in the sleep awake state is kinda common...

So you have visual things too?

no, its blurry. I never see any faces because I cant move my head and eyes (only hands can.) Even yesterday, when I thought cousin sat next to me. I didnt see her face but I can totally 'sense' the black dress. I dont know how to explain, its liek eyes are shut I am seeign but im not seeing it clearly u know?

I used to sleep walk...like the get-up-in-the-middle-of-the-night-disarm-the-alarm-system-and-walk-outside type of sleep walking...no joke. Had a few such instances as a child, and then the last one I think was when I was pregnant with my oldest, so about 8 years ago.....scary stuff....

I know of someone who jumped off the roof while sleep walking.
No joke.

I think I should start being more nicer to you. :(
