Am i allowed to....

do my fajar qaza before zuhr? I know…i know…i should read the fajr but i cant get up as i would disturb hubby’s sleep…so am i allowed to read it? I have only been told not to read any qaza after asr…

Please clarify and proved sources?

Thank you.

Re: Am i allowed to....

what sort of an excuse is this????

if u miss any prayer on its time, pray it as soon as u get the chance....
if u miss the fajr prayer, the best thing to do wud be to offer the prayer as soon as u get up....
dont wait for zuhr and asar to come....

Re: Am i allowed to....

I know..i know..i read all my namaaz on time AH - its only the fajr..

So you are saying that i can read my qaza before zuhr right?

Re: Am i allowed to…

If you are offering Qaza of Faj’r before zuhr, you need to offer the 2 sunnah as well besides the 2 fardh..

Offering Qazaa of Fajr, after the zawaal (start of zuhr), you will only offer two fardh as qazaa.

PS: why dun you ask your hubby to join you at faj’r time as well instead of making it qaza… you know he might be getting gunnah of it also by keeping you away from namaaz :halo:

Re: Am i allowed to....

Thanks AQ - for clarifying that! So reading 2 sunnah with 2 fard is still gonna be qazaa? Why is it that you have read only 2 fard after zuhr?

He works long hours and i dont want to disturb him...

Re: Am i allowed to....

If you're awake for Fajr, that is if you can get up, you should get up and make Fajr at its right time. It one thing if you just couldn't get up even though you tried your best, but to not even try to get up or being up but not praying at its prescribed time, even with the excuse you presented would still be considered a sin. May Allah gives us all the tawfiq to do the right thing..ameen.
