So for those of you kitchen kings and domestic goddesses who are always ready (like my mother) to prepare a meal for guests, what kinds of foods do you always have on hand?
What canned items do you keep around?
What frozen foods do you purchase?
What foods do you prepare in advance and freeze?
chiken tikka , siekh kabab, nihari , biryani , poo-la-o, qorma , murgh cholay , shami kabab, samosay , a lot is there in the freezer and fridge. When are you planning to come. :D
frozen peas, frozen mix vegetables, tomato puree frozen in cubes, some sort of protein (chicken, shrimp, or fish), mini samosay, shami kabab
chick peas, onions, potatoes, rice, pasta
