alum powder, is it true??

This is the first time I have heard of this.. (alum powder / phitkari

Apparently it can be used as a natural deodrant, aftershave and as an underarm whitener.. can it really tick all 3 boxes or is this too good to be true??

Has anyone used it or has any input on this at all? It seems to be fairly inexpensive also..

Re: alum powder, is it true??

I have been using it from many weeks to control sweating and it has worked very well for me- much better than any roll ons etc I used because by day end I always ended up sweating and then that inevitable odour would be there. It has no smell. You just use it after shower everyday and it controls your sweat really well. Won't say it serves as a deodrant as it has no smell. Neither did I see it resulting in underarm whitening.

So do you have to wash it off or can you just pat it on and go about your day?

Just pat it and you are good to go.
