There was a discussion in another thread abt designers n online stores making ppl living outside Pak pay extra $$$ for quality designs. So i hav thouht to start a thread where we all can find some alternatives to save money.
there can b alternatives for those not going to pak…like
Ask a friend or guppy in ur area visiting Pak to bring u one or two nice dresses in ur range or ask them to prepare a dress by providing sample pic
Get some numbers of good pak boutiques n contact them via phone/email ask to send some pics in ur range n size n select from there.
Find a local home based designer over there wh doesn’t hav a market in overseas n u’ll get better price.
Ask a family friend or a contact in Pak to do ur shopping or get u dresses made on comission.
Guppies in different cities can make a network n provide a list of local home based dress sellers with reasonable price n good quality styles.Some cities r always less pricey than others like Houston can b expensive,Toronto wil b less n calgary is least than toronto n vancouver.
N then theres no harm in indulging urself with one or two expensive designer pieces on ocassions.
Now i’ll share my knowledge of local sellers from canada n phone numbers of some boutiques in Pak.All guppies r welcome to share their info of good alternative contacts.

This lady also does custom orders.She exports from India.Very pricey starting at 200CAD but her fabric n quality is too die for.Nothing like cheap indian shops.Very classsy.
For those who wish someone in Pak can do shopping for them or get something designed on comission pm me n i’ll giv them one or two contact numbers .They won’t run away with ur money this much i can assure but dealing with them is totally ur responsibilty.
my pleasure.i want other guppies to name some local, affordable retailers in their respective cities or contact info of reliable kaam walaas n small scale designers in Pak so we can together help guppies who r unable to visit Pak n thus buy at any price.There r even needy ladies or single girls in certain families who r amazingly talented and can do hand embroidery n even stitching at incredible prices.I hav some relatives from my hubby's side that can turn ordinary casuals to something but unfotunately they live in remote areas with no access or knowledge of internet.
Mabrook, have you ever purchased any clothes from any of these designers? If so, can you please provide a short review please? Their customer service, quality of work in terms of what’s expected, etc.
no i havn't but if u join their group u can get reviews from other members.from wat i read there they look professional.rabia is in orange county so some guppy may know her.azmat is a kaarigar i guess based in lhr.

i have been doing my fashion designing studies from ami. and will be interning in may-august with some designer. (hopefully will get discounts) heheh
