Alternative and Complementary therapies

Re: Alternative and Complementary therapies

Pyarici, ask your hubbuy to give a foot massage, a good 10 minutes each foot and see where it feels good.:bukbuk:

Re: Alternative and Complementary therapies

Its funny, this is exactly the topic ive been googling lately. My son has developmental delays and its looking like he has attention deficit disorder. NO WAY do I want to start using something like Ritalin esp since he isnt even 5 yet. So i've been reading about how Flax seed oil helps this in many cases. I got some and will see how it works. There are also a number of homeopathic remedies which help ADD kids, will try this once we give the flax oil a chance. Have also corresponded with parents of kids with dev. troubles who have used reflexology with success. The way I see it - if nature creates a "problem", it also creates the "solution" for it. I'll resort to the high-tech drugs only as a very last resort.

What if u have a misaligned joint? Is it best to just go to an orthopaediest or is there any alternate therapy for that too?

does yoga count?

Re: Alternative and Complementary therapies

I went to this "spiritual healer" few months back.
Hmmm...I am not sure if it worked for me or not
but lots of our family friends who paid him a visit feel
their health problems have gone away.
I really think it's more psychological. who knows?
