Re: Altaf steps down as party chief
Altaf and Aitzaz Ahsan must have gone to the same drama school.
Aitaaz showed a 15 mins dab while Altaf played a three hours talkie ... all power show
But For heaven sake ... people.... act like educated audience... and stop name calling ...
Re: Altaf steps down as party chief
okay so i got excited for nothing.. somebody please change the thread title.
Re: Altaf steps down as party chief
The new title should be "Altaf almost steps down as party chief"
Re: Altaf steps down as party chief
lol you are funny
Re: Altaf steps down as party chief
Donât worry, Reza is khumba noching.
Its funny I just couple of days ago mentioned Altafâs retirments and taking it back 3 times already in the past. IT HAPPENED AGAIN
What a low life he is!!! He needs to see a doctor immediately.
Also its funny that someone mention about Aalsi, Reza and Sa1eem just yesterday that how they defend the obvious crimes and disastors that MQM brings to the country that a 5 year old can tell you their criminal records. These people simply bring mistakes of some other Party or leader.
Someone tell them that when those leaders are condemned here, nobody bring Altaf in the discussion. All of the leaders are looters, but the crown goes to Altaf and these bunch needs to learn to concede MQMâs crime when due.
Re: Altaf steps down as party chief
Drama! His supporters have pleaded with him not to step down, so he has changed his mind now!
Re: Altaf steps down as party chief
Are you kidding? George Bush is angel as compared to AH. Altaf Hussain should be compared with Malaskovich of Bosnia, who only knew ethinic cleansng. So comparing Aitezaz Ahsan with that Qatil, is just like comparing Nelson Mandela with Malaskovitch.
Re: Altaf steps down as party chief/ takes his resignation back (updated
He has played this drama before and now again doing the same, how can he live and pay bills of a mansion without MQM's support using public money/funds? He isn't going anywhere.
Re: Altaf steps down as party chief/ takes his resignation back (updated)
Its never ending:
1990: Quit somking (behind that collection of bhatta from PTC)
1991: Celeberating his birthdays - cutting the cake with a sword.
1991: Suffering from severe kidney failure - took refugee in Abbasi Shaheed Hospital
1991: Picture appearing on stones and leaves;
1991: Banners in Karachi: Read "mohsin-e-insaniyat ko salighra mubarak" shameful
1992-2000: Somewhere in between: Said to an interviewer: I would marry a woman like Khadija-tu-kubra (yeh monh aur masoor ki daal)
And this quiting and re joining drama is never ending.
This is all I could remember!
Re: Altaf steps down as party chief/ takes his resignation back (updated
Very, true. He is living like a leach on hard working people of Karachi. BTW, I just cannot understand why people cant see behind all this nonsense?

Altafâs 4th resignation since Jan 2007
KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussainâs announcement of resignation as the party head on Friday was his fourth since January 2007. The last time he announced resignation was in July 2007. On January 5, 2007, Altaf had announced his resignation citing deteriorating health as the reason. According to the MQMâs website, he was displeased with the extravagant lifestyle of party leaders. He took back his resignation the same day, after workers pressed him to reconsider his decision. An MQM member said Hussain had also considered resigning in March 2007. He announced resignation again on June 11, 2007, again citing health problems, while addressing a gathering of supporters by telephone. In 2005, he offered to quit six times, for similar reasons. irfan ali

Since there is something that needs to be said, and no one seems to offer their services, I will do the honor.
Let me walk you through the most ignored yet one of the most loaded chapters of Pakistanâs history. No matter how much we twist it around, truth of the matter is, after the independence of Pakistan, Muslims who migrated from India faced immense discrimination and suppression from rest of the Pakistanis, specifically, Panjabis and Pathans. Some people may have a hard time swallowing the facts, as it requires a complete shift in perspective. For few moments, put your critical head aside, and put on a more compassionate head.
For some unexplainable reasons, Panjabis were under the impression that because Panjab was already a part of Pakistan and they didnât have to migrate, it gives them certain superiority over those who did.
It was after years of discrimination, inequality, and unfairness, that MQM came into being. It was a breath of relief for mohajirins, because they could literally bear no more. To the best of my knowledge and impartiality, they were made to feel like outsiders in their own country, and were systematically victimized. Many Panjabis and other ethnicities still considered them Indians after decades, lack of literacy and lack of empathy of our Pakistani brethrens shined through.
Karachites have walked the walk with MQM. Itâs no wonder that in every election MQM sweeps the polls in urban Sindh. We can deny all we want, but Mohajirs are an integral part of Pakistan and have a lot to offer toward its growth and progression. Interestingly enough, MQM is the only party that represents them.
In a nutshell, my message is that we have to honestly give some credit to ourselves for the destructive tendencies of MQM. Iâd categorize it as defense mechanism.
Healing is a gradual process, but itâll eventually take place.
Pakistan can certainly be saved from further destruction and turmoil. Two words: acceptance and tolerance.

I must say your sense of history is very twisted. You're conveniently over looking the part played by Zia's regime in creation of MQM to undermine PPP in Sindh. As for MQM itself, its nothing more than mafia organization, and I know many Urdu speaking people who do not even want to associate with the MQM or what it stands for it. MQM has strangle hold Karachi & thats about.
Re: Altaf steps down as party chief/ takes his resignation back (updated)
Altaf and his goons have destroyed the so called migrants that 100 Ayubs, Bhuttos, NS and Zias could not do. A moment of truth for you and all Urdu speaking people including myself.

I overlooked all the parts that could lead to confrontational arguments rather than constructive.

And I am sure you'll also tell us how they were discriminated by Panjabis and Pathans, esp. by Pathans.
