I read somewhere that Bilawal has rushed back to Pakistan. Is it possible that Zardari is playing for grand slam of him or his handpicked loyalist as president, Pm and party chief?

good enough to be party chief. If Zardari becomes president, he cannot retain party leadership, so who better than Bilawal. and that will also spare the need for finding replacement for Ghilani -

Looks like my prediction is coming true ..the zardari president part. all that's left to do is have bilawal take over party and Pakistan is all packed signed and sealed
I dunno what to say, except that it seems like Zardari & Altaf are the best buddies now.
No wonder MQM abstained from voting on impeachment resolution in Sindh Assembly while they gave statement of supporting Musharraf.

MQM was "ruling party"? They were part of the coalition but I wouldn't say they were "ruling party".

so who do you want him to recommend, an ex-con or a 'khalifa' who used to be in osama's payroll? sad thing is that altaf has any sort of pull in this situation.

altaf is being modest as he is in close competition in abilities with Zardari, he suggested his name to rule himself out!
