**ISLAMABAD: Prime accused in killing od Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr. Imran Farooq’s murder, Mohsin Ali confessed about his direct involvement in the crime.
**
According to the reports in media, he admitted this during the interrogation session with Scotland Yard team visiting Pakistan to investigate the case. He was being interrogated for last two days by the British team.
Earlier in an investigation by Joint Investigation Team (JIT) in July he has already admitted his presence and involvement at the crime scene with a knife. He also admitted his active role in party’s student wing All Pakistan Muttahida Students Organization (APMSO). He revealed about his connections with other accused Kashif, Moazzam Ali and Khalid Shamim and their traveling to UK on study visas for the purpose.
Scotland Yard’s team is expected to return to UK soon. It is also expected that the UK government may formally seek the custody of the accused from Pakistan.
