PHOTO: FILE[/RIGHT] The wife of the alleged facilitator in the murder of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Imran Farooq on Monday filed a petition in Sindh High Court against her husband’s detention, hours after Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar claimed the accomplice was arrested in Karachi.

In her petition, she has alleged that despite approaching the Azizabad police station to seek information regarding the whereabouts of her husband, the SHO refused to oblige. Even Rangers officials did not cooperate, she claimed.

The SHC has been requested to direct the Sindh home secretary, DG Rangers, IG Sindh, SHO Azizabad and other officials to produce the detainee in a court of law along with details of a case it has been filed. The court is likely to take up the matter in the next few days.

I wish all these "investigations" and "arrests" were carried out in 2010 right after the murder, Pakistanis would've been proud of these co called intelligence agencies.
