The evidence they showed today is undeniable and looks like a logical end to an open murder.
Everyone inside and outside MQM knows the motive and murderer, but justice is blind and it needs evidence. Now they have it and it looks like a matter of time before the big news.

Staff Report LONDON: British authorities have sought help from Pakistan to trace two men suspected to be involved in the murder of Dr Imran Farooq, a senior leader of the Muttahida Qaumi Movemmurder case. According to a BBC report, UK authorities have formally sent a request to the Pakistan government to locate suspected men who are believed to be in Pakistan. The report has also named the two suspects, who are Mohsin Ali Syed and Kashif Khan Kamran. BBC report said that these two men arrived in London in February 2010 and September 2010, respectively. Altaf is MET's problem now. Their reputation is on stake and their is financial crimes that cannot be ignored, otherwise the tax payers will burn down the govt building. MET knows it and the transparency watchdog are not going to let this one slip only because Altaf is a MI6 agent. If there was no money laundering involved, this case would have been hushed, but oh well.....shamat aati hai tou akeli nahi aati.
Since AH hinted already that they might put him behind the bars, who is going to lead MQM if that happens. Mustafa Kamal is sidelined and Farooq Sattar/Aamir Khan are not leadership material. So is Aafaq going to be pardoned by AH and asked to lead in his absence? You never know.

This story has been around for couple of years. But what has amazed me is how the heck Pakistani authorities knew about these two murderers coming back, as the plane is said to be stopped at runway and these two men were identified and taken into custody and sent to unknown place by the agency. Who was tapping Iftikhar Hussain's incoming calls to Pakistan that revealed the plan. Was IB or ISI already knew the plan through phone tapping and were waiting for these men to return so they can take them in custody? Has AH been blackmailed by PPP govt or agencies (in their own capacity) on this matter? Or someone insider from MQM gave tip?
There are bunch of mysteries around what happened in Pakistan before and after the murder. There are other BQM supporters that were murdered too. Some were put into ANP's account during tension time in Orangi/Baldia area.

Names of two suspects revealed in Imran Farooq killing case - DAWN.COM
KARACHI: A BBC news report on Wednesday identified the names of two suspects in the Dr Imran Farooq murder case.
The report said that based on the documents received from Pakistani officials the two suspects were identified, for the first time, by the names of Mohsin Ali Syed and Muhammad Kashif Khan, who were staying on student visa in England.
The BCC report which also featured a documentary added that the British Crown Prosecution Service had officially asked Pakistani authorities to search for the two most wanted suspects in the killing of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr Imran Farooq.
The Pakistani suspects reportedly boarded a plane to Sri Lanka from London’s Heathrow airport on the same day the MQM leader was killed.
It was alleged that Kashif Khan had come to England just days before the murder of Dr Farooq.
Also, both suspects had enrolled in a college situated in east London, the site of which was also featured in the documentary run in BBC’s Newsnight.
Moreover, the British home office said it was currently not holding any investigations against the college.
The BBC report further said that the visa forms of the two suspects were verified by a Karachi-based businessman named Moazzam Ali Khan, who allegedly had remained in continuous contact during 2010 with the 52-year old suspect Iftikhar Husain, a British citizen of Pakistani origin, arrested by London police in 2013.
Hussain’s arrest was the first carried out by London police in relation to Dr Farooq’s killing.
MQM leader Dr Imran Farooq, aged 50, was on his way home from work when he was attacked in Green Lane on Sept 16, 2010 outside his London home. A post-mortem examination found that he died from multiple stab wounds and blunt trauma to the head.

No matter how much turbulence happens in this case, its not going anywhere. If someone expects Altaf hussain to be apprehended and trailed for IF's killing, its not going to happen. First they dont have enough proof against Altaf hussain yet. Second its easy to make a case that MQM is involved but its very hard to prove in court that the party chief himself is involved in that. After all the developments in past few months, Altaf's legal team is ready as well to get him out in case if he's taken away be police.
I think if Brits decide to get rid of him, the best case they can make is for money laundering and instigation that he does thru his speeches time after time.

If they have families, they probably won't. Whether they admit or nor not won't make much difference if a link with MQM has already been established by the police.

Some details regarding the two murderers and how they were captured on the runway in Karachi by the agencies. They were being monitored all along but were let go outside of UK. They only spoke truth in front of GIT when they were told that they would have been killed had they stepped outside the airport when they arrived. It was all arranged and agencies knew the plan in Karachi. This report is now has reached London. I think the authorities in both countries are worried about the fallout in the absence of successor and the political vaccum its going to create. Brits don’t want to lose control over Karachi either. But AH won’t nominate anyone as his successor either. This might create a civil war situation within MQM or MQM against law enforcement or Sindh Govt. If Ch. Nisar’s name come in the exchange of prime suspects, the issue will effect Islamabad as well.
Malik Riaz is also has business ties with some of the MQM’s new billionaires MNAs who have real estate in Islamabad and Dubai.
