Yeah right, the whores of Nodero and Larkana were the ones who led the deadliest attacks against the MQM in the past. Who were Naseerullah Babur and Zulfi Mirza working for if it was not the PPP? Like I said, all these 'whores' including your favourite PPP jiyalas need to be condemned at the fullest for sleeping with the enemy.

For so many years neither PPP nor its leaders were so vocal against mqm. Again PPP made alliance with mqm perhaps due to support in the center, because it had not enough seats. On the other hand whore leaders of PML(N) were using all kind of filthy language against AH and mqm until recently. But suddenly they made u-turn and made yet another un-holy alliance knowing that Bhai was in great trouble and might be arrested for at least in money laundering case. More over PML(N) had enough seats to get his president elected without the support of mqm.

That is incorrect. Bhai is under severe threat of arrest, once he is arrested, mqm will crumble down like dust. Poulairty of mqm is at lowest ebb. PTI and others are gaining the ground tremendously in Karachi. By providing artificial life support to Bhai, leaders of Hira Mandi continued the mayhem and anarchy in Karachi.

I dont have any problem if the party leaves terrorism and bhatta khori. If PMLN alliance with them can curb this problem all power to them.

dil ke behlanay ko ghalib ye khayaal achha hay.... we recently read news that MQM has bumped their bhatta demand from few hundreds to couple thousands for small shop owners, now think how much would've been bumped for bigger shops/businesses.

Another thing is that our media is scared of mentioning the word "MQM". During the past five years MQM has the excuse that even Anp and PPP had militant wings (and were involved in target killings and extortions). PTI has helped exposé the party (and that too peacefully).

MQM was caught rigging the last elections (and videos posted on the social media). Then we saw the way the party head responded to teen talwar protest. During the past two decades the party is under pressure for the first time. This pressure can help reform the party (we will have to see). Any alliance of PMLN and MQM could undo what ever has been achieved during the past few months.

lol where did I say the alliance between the MQM and PMLN is commendable? Im stating the exact opposite, reread my posts plz...

I was just pointing out how we shouldn't just bash the MQM based on PTI's present stance on it (for PTI supporters) and PMLNs preesent stance on it (for all PMLN supporters)... They are no reality or mandate, they are just a murdering bunch of thugs and should be condemned no matter who they are in bed with.

The looters of nodero and larkana are no different, dont try to over simplify things and show the PPP bandits are principled... zardari didnt bash altaf bhai before his term because he was pretty much in exile living abroad claiming he couldn't even take a piss without seeking help. We all know in the past they were just like any other political opportunistic thugs and launched operations against the MQM and then formed alliances when the need arose. Plus, its not like the Sharifs were saying stuff against bhai directly, they were using their minions just like how Zardri and BB did it in the past. The only thing I agree with you is that the present Govt had no reason to form this alliance based on a need for political support, they could have done without it and I have already condemned that.

Not sure where things are headed, but apparently Mubasher Luqman is in the UK these days...and he has made a few 'verified' tweets about Altaf Hussain and MQM, indicating that things are pretty bad for Altaf Hussain. Not only was he arrested and then released on bail, conditional to him being quiet, but apparently he is also very ill...probably suffering from some form of cancer.

And apparently Iftikhar Chaudhry has sent a contempt notice to Mubasher Luqman as well!

KARACHI: Facing police investigation in London regarding among other charges, money laundering and incitement to violence, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain Saturday urged the party workers to remain committed even if he is arrested by the Metropolitan Police.

Speaking to party activists in Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas, in the wake of the upcoming by-polls scheduled to be held on August 22, he said no force can apart him from his fellows and the public.

“Do not panic…remain steadfast and courageous, even if the British police arrest me,” said the MQM chief, adding that he is innocent like he ever was and not afraid of any action of the law enforcing agencies including detention.

“Time has proved that all cases and allegations hurled at me were fabricated and false,” he said.

Several MQM legislators belonging to both Sindh and National Assembly were also present on the occasion.

Altaf Hussain in his usual style said despite physically living in Britain for the last 21 years, he was ‘spiritually’ present in Pakistan among his loved ones.

He demanded the government and Election Commission to make peaceful voting on August 22 possible. “If the authorities failed to make peaceful voting possible for the by-elections, then the masses will be justified to protest against it,” he added.

The London Metropolitan police had launched an investigation against Altaf Hussain following complaints by hundreds of British and Pakistani citizens for inciting hatred and violence in the aftermath of the May 11 general elections in Pakistan.

The British authorities are also probing charges of money laundering and murder of MQM leader Dr Imran Farooq against Altaf Hussain.
