BTW, what Imran Khan is doing is no diff than what JI has been doing since creation of Pakistan. Its called negative politics. They would never be satisfied with no matter who is running the country & their purpose of existence is to tear down the govt of the day. That is never good for the country. As for his other work, I agree and he should stick to that. Politics is not for everyone.

Oh, also, calling for military coup is treason. Imran Khan has been demanding that Mushrraf should be tried for treason, what about him? Isn’t he guilty of same crime?

^^ Name calling is for grade-school. As far as Musharraf goes, there was widespread support when he took over and he was very popular till even 2004 or 2005.

Given a political theater filled with thieves, gangsters and drug barons, he’s a breath of fresh air and is actually doing something to prove his candidacy for the highest post e.g. by building universities, hospitals, and generally coming across as a suave politician.

But hang on, explaining this to people who support siree-paavey munching crooks (or the gun toting dons in Karachi, for that matter) is not going to work, ever.
