A few decades ago, there were slogans on Karachi’s walls “Sindhi Mohajer bhai bhai yeh Punjabi kidhar say aayi”? I am talking of Hyderabad. Later we saw the animosity between Sindhis and Urdu Speaking people (here I am talking in the context of PPP and MQM, considering MQM as the sole representative of Urdu speaking people), and then we saw the killing of Pakhtuns (after 2007). In all of these events the constant that I see is MQM, what do you think?

It’s because who else comes in power other than MQM try to take control of Karachi forcefully and it always lead to violence. What happened after 2007 in 2008 when PPP came into used ANP and later Lyari crminials to take down MQM and then there were casualties on both side. But how many killings you saw during 2001 and 2007 when MQM at it’s peak?
