I think his statement is more to do with the percieved threat of Talibanisation spreading to whole country, if it was for pashtun only then resistance against Taliban is not going to achieve that.
MqMisation of karachi is as bad as Talibanisation if not worse.
After that hit song he is going to have land sliding victory in panjab. Finally some one who cares AND sing for ppl of panjab!

Moulvi Umer of Tehrek e Taliban of Pakistan has just said in an interview to the BBC that Karachi is an important city of the Umma and that it is currently filled with fahasi and uryani and we are certainly looking forward to cleaning up it soon.
Living in south India, how do you know Hindu support these terrorists? Hindus are the weakest but rich community in Karachi. There is absolutely no hindrance in terrorizing them and force them to say Jay Altaf Hussain.
In 1991, ethnic riots with Sindhis, Sindhi Hindus were the most targeted community by MQM. MQM called strike in Karachi, the famous mithai wala also known as Dewan from Shikarpur Sindh opened his shop (Sun Shine) at Tariq Road. Poor guy was an old man of about 75 years; he did not know that MQM terrorists had called for the strike on that day. At about 11a.m two or three MQM goons entered his shop and opened fire from machine guns killing all the employees and that old legendary mithai wala from Shikarpur (Sindh). The poor guy had nothing to do with any ethnic group or political party. Do you think people will forget that kind of brutality? Can you?
I do not want to answer the first question Sherdil Bhai due to some reasons.(Let's not touch that topic :) )
I may not be able to counter your statement about how Hindus suffered during 1991-92 riot period .May be the incident you described above was an isolated incident.It's quite natural that during that time,in both India and Pakistan ,minorities were attacked.In India,sadly,muslims were targetted.
But later MQM could surely win the hearts of atleast some sections of Hindu community.

Majority of the hindus in Karachi are the most poorest people of the city. They mostly live in Soldier Bazar and some parts of Lyari. A few live in the balouch goths in and all around Karachi.

Thanks there is nothing to hide in that news. I have already mentioned it in my post at number 45.
But hindus in other parts of Sindh are well educated - mostly they are doctors, engineers and chartered accountants.
Hindus in other parts,only a handful of them are like above.Most of them are either agrarians or in to menial jobs,especially Haris.Outside sindh,there are Hindus in Baloch especially in Quetta where they are either in to garment business or as money lenders.Punjab and NWFP ,their numbers are insignificant.Some hindu tribes live along Theera.,in NWFP,bordering Afghanistan.
This guy needs some serious professional help in a mental clinic…and people who follow him should be studied as a research case…their brains should be scanned to see if they resemble the human species or not…
