Wrong. It was created by Zia-ul-Haq to counter PPP in Sindh. Comparing activities of both artificial created groups, MQM is more brutal and facist than Taliban. As some one well said in another thread that both are brothers with same "Father" but different "Mothers".
Was it to counter PPP or break JI's hold on Karachi and other parts of Sindh?

Calling creation of Pakistan as biggest blunder is not an "anti-Pakistan" statement in your opinion? And that was during a speech to wider audience, not just an interview to one individual.

I didnt know Islamabad, Lahore, Multan were Talabanized. Infact, last year it was the MQM begging some madrassah for their support.

This is another pathetic attempt at somehow scoring points with the west. This is why Mustafa Kamaal, sub-don of Karachi has been making racist remarks against the Pakthun community in Karachi. This is also why he was trying to ballwash Musharraf by inviting him to Karachi and threatening them of a geographical change. The west will put up a blind eye to MQM’s terror in Karachi but if it was a threat by the Talibobs, they’ll gladly jump in and stop considering it Pakistan’s internal problem. However, the chances of that happening are next to nothing and the west knows that, so Altaf can continue his usual squealing all he wants.

Living in south India, how do you know Hindu support these terrorists? Hindus are the weakest but rich community in Karachi. There is absolutely no hindrance in terrorizing them and force them to say Jay Altaf Hussain.
In 1991, ethnic riots with Sindhis, Sindhi Hindus were the most targeted community by MQM. MQM called strike in Karachi, the famous mithai wala also known as Dewan from Shikarpur Sindh opened his shop (Sun Shine) at Tariq Road. Poor guy was an old man of about 75 years; he did not know that MQM terrorists had called for the strike on that day. At about 11a.m two or three MQM goons entered his shop and opened fire from machine guns killing all the employees and that old legendary mithai wala from Shikarpur (Sindh). The poor guy had nothing to do with any ethnic group or political party. Do you think people will forget that kind of brutality? Can you?
After that hit song he is going to have land sliding victory in panjab.
