KARACHI: Reiterating his stance that the country needs a revolution similar to that of the French Revolution, Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain has asked the Pakistan army and the country’s “establishment” to support the masses that, he said, are compelled to bring about a “change” to weed out corruption and feudal system…
Re: Altaf again wants 'establishment' to take over...
At this rate soon he will be begging army to take over. I guess his Bhata collection must be really down these days. Poor guy. You have to feel sorry for him.
Re: Altaf again wants ‘establishment’ to take over…
Altaf bhai wants to actually lead the revolution similar to French revolution with the help of the army. He himself will actually live in his comfortable environment in London… and probably lead the revolution via video screens.

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has said a revolution similar to the French Revolution was knocking at the doors of Pakistan and the MQM will lead that revolution.
There is price hike, hunger and poverty in the country. Millions of people are without food and are compelled to bring such a revolution. Now no one can stop this revolution to be witnessed by the people, he added.
Altaf was making a live telephonic address from London at a book launching ceremony. The book was written by deputy convener MQM Rabita Committee Anis Ahmed Kaimkhani.
Altaf said the poor people in the flood-hit areas were passing their life without food and shelter. These poor masses are ready to bring about a revolution, as they are compelled to pass their life in hunger, he maintained.
The MQM chief said a similar situation was witnessed before the French Revolution and at that time people took to the streets and finally trapped the king and chopped off his head. He urged the people to start preaching for the French Revolution in the country and they (the masses) should be mentally and physically prepared for a revolution similar to the French Revolution.
Altaf expressed his determination that when the Muttahdia would lead the revolution similar to the French Revolution, then the MQM will not allow corrupt political leaders and feudal lords to escape and all lootedwealth will be deposited in the national exchequer. All airports will be closed and these corrupt elements will be hanged publicly so that no one ever makes such an attempt to promote corruption in the country, he added. Altaf advised the people not to get worried, as he had no fear from anyone except God.
The MQM chief discussed in detail sacrifices rendered by the party workers during the struggle. He appreciated the book written by Anis Kaimkhani and asked all workers to follow him.

Re: Altaf again wants 'establishment' to take over...
Altaf is the biggest lota of all the corrupt politcians.
He always joins the govt in power, gets key positions, then he acts like they have nothing to do with any government acts - so he can play the 'mohajir victim' role
Re: Altaf again wants 'establishment' to take over...
He really needs history lessons. Perhaps he did not know the circumtances under which French, Russian or even Chinese revolution took place. The situation in Pakistan is far from different. According to him revolution means to clear city of Karachi from other ethinicities. He is camouflaging his idea of genocide in to above revolutions. He is hard core criminal killer and should be brought from London to face murder cases against him.

New phase of some dirty play.
Re: Altaf again wants ‘establishment’ to take over…
what an idiot. this from the party that has thison it’s website, on the perennial animosity and violence the establishment has been doing of its workers and mohajirs.
what role did the army play in the french revolution?
Re: Altaf again wants ‘establishment’ to take over…
Must see this program. A MQM leader clarified about good generals.

Re: Altaf again wants 'establishment' to take over...
Whas surprising in what Altaf is saying. For a regional mafia its always good to be allies of a dictator, this will ensure continuous supply of funds since they cannot do that when other political parties wth much larger support across the country are in the race as well. If it was Musharraf's era you will never have seen ANP taking on MQM in Karachi. There will be no PPP in Sindh to share power with MQM. Democracy does nto suite them.
Re: Altaf again wants 'establishment' to take over...
These "democrats" shouldn't be upset over Altaf's remarks because in 1999, it was these "democrats" who first supported takeover by Musharraf - the first one being Benazir. She even offered to help Musharraf form a government even though Mushi hadn't asked for her help. She only turned against him after Mushi rejected her offer and declared her a proclaimed offender.
