MQM always talks high of its political maturity, educated legacy and organised systematic organisation. The recent comments made by Altaf Hussain in his telephonic speech at 90 Centre, Karachi has raised the political temperature in the country. Altaf’s remarks are to my viepoint NOT being taken seriously by media. Even PML-N has failed in its media management to handle the issue and ask MQM why has it used abusive language. While PML-N did retaliated but they did NOT actually referred to the abuses.

This is really unprecedented situation. Rather than replying to actual blames, Altaf made personal attacks.

Altaf and mature don’t sit well together. You only have to youtube some of his older speeches. I heard his remarks about Nawaz Sharif today, they didn’t really come across as a surprise. MQM leaders also routinely try to belittle and insult Imran Khan by bringing up his personal life.
