Ok I never opened aloha part I and I am inspired by the other aloha thread
When we were at our honeymoon, we went to a store to buy souvenirs. The shuttle was provided by that store, so when we we exiting the shuttle, the driver gave everyone a key to the “treasure box”. Whoever’s key would unlock that box, they’ll get some special deal. Well, Mrs. Shikra’s key opened the so called treasure box. We picked up a card and it had “x% discount on jewelry”. So we were like okay, let’s look at the jewelry. There they had fresh sea shells. What we had to do was touch one with the magic wand and the sales associate would open it and see whether we got the pearl or not.
Anyway, Mrs. Shikra touched one, she popped it open, comes out a pearl. Now, all this time when we opened the treasure box, picked the shell, opened it, all of the associates were yelling “ALOHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA”. She was like ok you got one pearl, you get a bonus, you wanna try another one? Let your husband try. I was like okay sure. I touched one shell and she popped it open and it had two pearls. Again, everyone was yelling aloha. The girl asked us if we wanted it mounted, we said sure. We picked up a set of earnings for mounting and price was something like $22.50.
While she was about to mount it, another lady came and asked the price of those earrings. The associate said “$250.00”. I was like whaaaaaaat The lady said yeah that’s the price. We were like hold on, we’ll be right back…and we never went back
Nahi Their price was probably wrong. That’s why I read $22.50…but when she SAID it to the other lady, they were $250.00…too expensive for poor me Discount ko maaro goli, merey hosh to original price ney hi uraa diye. I had spent so much on the airline tickets, cruise package, food/entertainment on the cruse, shore excursions, shopping etc. that I couldn’t afford to pay more on this trick. I bet you they know which ones have 1 pearl and which ones have 2 pearls
Shikra,
ofcourse they know. this is just to trick people.
they know people are on vacation/honeymoon, they're in good mood - and yes, perfect shoppers for those stores.
