It's very good for moisturising, it also is soothing (for example after waxing) and is said to aid healing.
Traditionally, people would keep the plant and when they need aloe, they would slice a leaf and take the gel directly from the inside. It is still the best way to do it.
You can get 99.9% Aloe Vera gel though.
I use Aloe Vera every day to moisturise the driest parts of my face.

It makes it glow ... if you apply the gel under your eyes, it can help prevent future wrinkles from developing. Can't do anything about the ones you may already have ....

It makes your skin clearer by removing all sort of scars n marks n it also makes your skin glow.

It comes in a drink form as well. You can get it a homeopathic/health food store.

Look for it in the juice aisle.. for those in the Middle East there's one called "aloe V"
