They cannot supress such activities becoz constitution of United States allows such activities.

the Constitution of United States was written by Migrants.

Regardless of that, the constitution of Pakistan does not prohibit Dutch people from marking singing their national anthem at Minar-e-Pakistan.

My comments were to highlight the difference western society and desi society.

Pakistani Americans are free to sing Pakistani Anthem openly and organize Pakistani parades on Pakistan’s Independence in American Society.

But being American citizens, can they sing American national anthem in Pakistani society ??? when both US and Pakistan allows dual citizenship.

Not now. Probably not even 20 years from now. But if PTI gets elected, then maybe 50 years from now I see that happening.
My bad for taking offence. Kakabili made a good point that how many Americans do we know that do a American Day parade or anything of that sort in Pakistan. As far as Pakistani Americans with dual nationality are concerned. ( I am guessing that’s what your point was)I don’t see why they would find the need to sing American national anthem on Pakistani soil. Just like how any Italian,Chinese,Indian, Arab American wouldn’t do that in their country of origin.

Thank you much clothesmad. If you haven’t gotten your NICOP made. Get it made. It usually takes anywhere from 6-8 weeks. Chicago consulate currently is not making it. You’ll have to send your documents to New York & then you’ll get your NICOP in mail from Pakistan. If you need help regarding that, feel free to ask me. Also we are hoping (keeping my fingers crossed here) to host chairman in the upcoming months. Its going to be a huge event. Even I might come to Chicago for that. If you or your family is interested. Would love to invite you. It’ll be a good opportunity to meet a fellow Guppan.

There is no doubt that PTI has given hope to Pakistanis.. not only the overseas Pakistanis but also a lot of people living in Pakistan..

True that & InshaAllah PTI will deliver. I don’t just see PTI being the change. Its the hope/positivity I see in people that will change as us a nation.
