Almond Roca

so hubby and i bought a huge container of Almond Roca from costco and have too much to eat.

i tried googling recipes i can make using almond roca as an ingredient, but no luck.

anyone here have any recipes or ideas on how to incorporate almond roca into desserts? other ideas?

Re: Almond Roca

Could you melt them over a double-boiler and pour some in a pie crust and top it with banana’s and whipped cream for a ‘banofee’ type pie?

I remember my mother made ‘khubaani ka meetha’ once and added almond crunch to the final layer and it turned-out really yummy too.

Re: Almond Roca

You can crush them and use them in a chocolate trifle.

Re: Almond Roca

crush them and use them in a recipe which calls for crushed toffee

I think this one is AMAZING!

CRUSHED Toffee & Dark Chocolate Strawberries
the recipe calls for making toffee from scratch, you can just use your almond roca, crush it and stuff the strawberries

otherwise, just send the rest of the container to me :smiley: lol

Re: Almond Roca

Here are some more recipes:

  1. Toffee Crunch Cookies Recipe {lot of reviews suggest using half toffee bits and half milk chocolate chips and since almond roca is already covered in chocolate i think this recipe will just work great for you}

  2. Toffee Hot Chocolate Recipe {use your almond roca inside and on top, you wont even need to crush a lot of them for this recipe; but they may take longer time to melt since they’re larger than chips}

  3. Toffee Truffles Recipe {will turn out to look like this

  4. Caramel Toffee Bombe Recipe

  5. Toffee Bar Brownies

  6. Toffee Banana Bread {just remove the rum from the recipe and add two more tablespoon of milk}

  7. Chocolate drizzled Popcorn {no crushing needed}

  8. Toffee Bits Cheesecake

  9. Brickle Bundt Cake [Dont konw why its called Brickle Bundt Cake, might as well call it Toffee Bundt Cake

  10. Toffee ice cream pie {If I posted a recipe, you would think its complicated. Its as simple as crushing your toffee (almond roca in your case), mixing it through in softened ice cream of your choice flavour (vanilla, chocolate, butterscotch would work great), and re-freezing it until firm. I f you want you can add a graham cracker crumb to make it more of a pie.}

*Note: Crush toffee bars easily by sealing them in a heavy-duty, zip-top plastic bag, crush with a rolling pin. *

There ya go! Hope that helps you. I dont know your cooking skills and availability of things such as oven etc, so I posted all kinds of recipes for you. Also, as polished gems said, you could use crushed roca bits in trifle..but that would only use a little bit of them, which is why Im giving you these recipes which will use a lot of the in one go!
I hope you like something enough from this to try :slight_smile:
And if you’re feeling a bit adventurous you could try this:
Toffee Crusted Chicken Breast :smiley:

Lol ok I dont mean it, I just found it while looking for some recipes and just thought it would be interesting to share.

Do let us know what you made in the end and how it turned out! :slight_smile:
