does anyone know anything about it?
I use a lot of this, especially as a body moisturiser for myself and junior.....I hate baby oil with a vengeance. I sometimes get excema and using sweet almond oil as a moisturiser keeps any flare ups under control.
It's also very good for hands and weak nails, massaged into your hands at night as it promotes nail growth.
Or you could warm some slightly and massage into wet hair before you shampoo it. It's very versatile. Try and get the organic variety if you can.
Almond oil is also a good base oil for mixing with other oils to tailor suit your skin. ie with jobaba oil or rose oil.
what about for face?
I hate the smell of almond oil (it's not strong but still) use olive oil instead it’s a good ‘hair conditioner’ and skin moisturiser.
Has anybody ever tried shea or sesame butter/oil? I prefer using sesame body butter and it is great on my skin. Almond, hazelnut, shea, sesame ..... all fabulous.
Mahnoor, yes you can use it on the face too.
Pk Taz, try sweet almond oil instead. You'll smell good enough to eat. Or whatever.
Almond gr8 for dry skin, but if u have oily skin do apatch test u don't want to break out. :)

i use olive oil.... how long should it be left in the hair before washing it out?
another question... does oil make the hair grow or is that another myth?
I don't know if it makes the hair grow Sadzz, but it does improve the condition of the hair. I guess it might depend on the type of oil used etc, or maybe it's the process of massaging the oil into the scalp that makes it grow rather than the oil itself?
could be shahreen... its cus i have a cousin whose hair has grown almost 3 feet in 3 years and mine prob like 10 centimeres.. not even..
she told me its cus of the oils she uses and cus she plaits her hair..
