From this month we are starting a unique competition in Allviews. The objective of this exercise is to encourage constructive discussion and reward quality posters. This will also serve as a tool to build a mature +ve discussion environment.
During the month AV mods will keep a closer eye on discussions and recommend threads based on the following criteria:-

Thread must have been started in the specific month for which it is being nominated, or the majority of a thread’s posts should have been made in the specific month.

Thread should have a useful and constructive discussion:
i) It should have a well formed, logical, and substantiated post by the original poster.
ii) The original poster should be continuously engaged in leading and contributing to the discussion.
iii) Number of replies per day should be relatively higher than other threads in that forum.
iv) Other posters should refrain from non-constructive behaviours including hostility, derailing etc.
v) The thread should have minimal post deletions and edits from the mods and admins.
- The posts in the thread should be regarded as useful or interesting as identified through poster comments and/or ratings.
At the end of the month a short list of selected threads will be compiled, from which one thread and poster will be awarded a place in Allviews diaries. Thread starter will receive “Poster of the month” title.
PS: Threads started on and after 1st of December will be considered for final short list.
