Not justifying his behaivor. But those that do behave in this way may even argue that it’s not insanity but sheer genious to say those three words to a girl…just to get what you want out of her. It’s manipulative.
While words and even actions can be misleading, the girls also have a responsibility toward themselves and their own well-being (treading carefully, etc). But yes, it is a chitty thing to do if there was no sincerity behind the words.
